Señora Gose’s Credentials include:

  • Baylor University Bachelors Degree ’99
    • (Secondary Education; Spanish, Public Speaking, and ESL. With a minor in Religion)
  • Texas Public School Teacher in Midway ISD and Bryan ISD
  • Homeschool Private Class teacher since 2002
  • Curriculum Author and Speaker (Flip Flop Spanish) since 2006

After graduating from Baylor University in 1999, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education, focused on Spanish, Public Speaking, and a Licensure in ESL, plus a minor in Religion, Señora Gose became a junior high and high school public school teacher in Texas's Midway ISD and then Bryan ISD. Señora Gose has been teaching Spanish, Speech, and ESL ever since, “retiring” from public school when their family began growing in 2001. In 2002, she began private Spanish classes for homeschooled students ages 3 to 18 and has developed her own curriculum through that venue. Classes have grown, students have graduated and begun their own families, and families have requested a way to use Sra. Gose’s methods even when they don’t live in Central Texas. And thus Spanish Geniuses was born. Many students gain College Credit via CLEP after taking Sra. Gose’s classes, and other students have gone on to study Spanish Abroad in College or the ministry.

The Flip Flop Spanish author is a happily married, former Texas Public School Teacher, current Private Lessons teacher, small business owner, and mother of five children, as well as founder and board member of the Community Homeschool Center in Bryan, Texas.

Señora Gose lives in Central Texas with her husband and growing family of five children. She enjoys teaching her weekly Spanish and Speech classes, supporting homeschool endeavors of the community in any way possible, and keeping a happy, well-organized farm.

Her husband and family also work together on their family business as Rent The Chicken affiliates.

Señora Gose's priorities begin with striving to be a godly wife and mother, and are followed by teaching and tutoring all ages of Spanish students, reading and writing Spanish lesson plans (and compiling future curricula!), and continually making her home more efficient as she strives to follow the Lord’s Will in all that she does.

Please feel free to e-mail Sra. Gose with questions, comments, or feedback on her books, lessons, or website.
